The Ageless Woman is a book that I just had to write. Mostly because I felt I had something useful to say about keeping fit and healthy with advancing years. But also because I needed the subject out of my system.

You see, I’ve always been sporty, and because of that my first degree was a joint honours in Geography and Sport Studies. Later, when I was ‘coming back to’ writing, I gained a personal training qualification which refreshed and enhanced my knowledge and practical expertise in wonderful contrast to my day-to-day life as a practicing solicitor.

But then Cora Griffin strode into my life, fully formed, and the seed for my debut novel, The Wimpling Wing, was sown. What’s a girl to do? I knew I would struggle to focus on both. So, in the end, I decided the best course was to distil my knowledge of what worked for me into this short book, The Ageless Woman, and put to bed this chapter of my writing life.

Written from a standpoint of simplicity and practicality, The Ageless Woman is essentially a love letter to the art of growing old with grace.
